Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Penjadwalan Ujian Akhir Semester Berbasis Web dengan Fitur Auto-Scheduling
Abstract
A well-prepared abstract enables the reader to identify the basic content of a document quickly and accurately. Attendance recording on campus using conventional methods is vulnerable to manipulation and inefficient in data recapitulation. This study aims to design a web-based online attendance system utilizing Location-Based Service (LBS) technology. The system is designed using a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture with PHP programming language and implements the Haversine algorithm. This algorithm functions to calculate the precise distance between the user's smartphone GPS coordinates and the campus's central coordinates, with the attendance radius strictly set at 50 meters. The results of this research phase include the system architecture design, a relational database structure to manage lecture schedules, and an interactive user interface framework. This system design is expected to be an applicable solution to minimize attendance fraud and accelerate academic administration processes at Universitas Graha Karya Muara Bulian.
