Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of implementing the recruitment of
candidates for regional civil servants in Batang Hari Regency and to find out the role of the
Regional Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency in the Implementation of the
Recruitment of Candidates for Civil Servants in Batang Hari Regency. The method of analysis used
in this study is descriptive qualitative research which is used to describe events and phenomena
that occur in the field, the data collection is done by interview and observation techniques. The
results of this study indicate that (1) the recruitment process for Candidates for Regional Civil
Servants in Batang Hari Regency in the 2018 and 2019 formations recruited using the CAT
(Computer Assisted Test) system with the recruitment process composing and submitting
formations, administrative selection, competency selection. Basic (SKD), Field Competency
Selection (SKB), Filing and Proposing Employee Identification Numbers (NIP) Regional Personnel
and Human Resources Development Agency in the recruitment of Civil Servants Candidates have a
facilitating role starting from the needs planning stage, administrative selection stage, test
preparation until the issuance of the Decision Letter of Appointment as a CPNS and coordinate all
existing activity plans so that they run according to what has been determined
