Analisa Perbandingan Rasio Profitabilitas Sebelum Dan Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Untuk Menilai Kinerja Keuangan Industri Telekomunikasi Di Bursa Efek Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of the profitability ratios of the telecommunications
industry before and during the covid-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge
impact on world life, both in terms of health and the economy. The implementation of social
distancing policies has an impact on the weakening of the economy in various industrial sectors.
The telecommunications sector is one of the few sectors that has been able to survive the
pandemic. The data used in this study is the financial data of telecommunications sector
companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019 - 2020, the data was
analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. From the results of the study using the analytical
formula profitability ratio consisting of Net Profit Margin, Gross Profit Margin, Return On
Investment, Return On Equity, Key that at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk there was an increase
in performance in the ratio of net profit margin, gross profit margin, and return on equity,
whilereturn on investment decreased. At PT Indosat Tbk and PT Indosat Tbk, there is a decrease
for each precise ratio. Bakrie Telecom Tbk increased in the ratio of net profit margin, gross profit
margin, and return on investment, while the return on equity decreased. There was an increase in
the total accurate ratio at PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk and PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk.
